going to CFCC

Yesterday, my autism class went on a field trip to Cape Fear Community College. that was pretty neat. there are several different campus' and it was great. there are a few courses that i'm thinking of taking when i get to college. classes like marine technology, its either that or engineering. something that would give me a good career. i think i'll go to that college.

training my dogs

i know its been a long time since i've talked about my dogs; so here is an update. for the past three days, i have been training them. daisy knows sit and down, but can't roll over and needs work on shake.
bear on the other hand, is at the head of the class. he can shake, roll over, lay down, sit, high five, and we are working on wave. i don't know what else to teach him. if you have any ideas, please share them with me. no idea is a bad one. if you want to see the projects the digital media class at my school is doing; check out: digitalmedianhhs.blogspot.com. you'll be amazed at what we've done in there. :)

wood carving

i recently got interested in wood carving. besides airsoft, its one of many ways i release stress. i started out shaving sticks; then i actually started wanting to carve a design into the wood. i talked to my grandad,who is awesome at woodworking, and he gave some tips and a block of wood. as it turns out, i need type of soft wood called tupelo. the best part is that this type of wood grows in this area. but i have been practicing with the block of wood i have, and have carved two things. the first is a flower, however not everyone could tell what it was. but, oh well. the second is a cross, but i couldnt put a cool design in it. i am just gonna have to keep practicing.

hanging with my cousins

i have some pretty cool cousins. they are younger than me but we have a ton of fun. on sundays we will pick them up for church, and go to power camp. my brother and i are coaches there, we basically hang out and do the activities. afterwards we eat lunch at the grandparents, and then we will do something fun. like, fly kites at the beach, or take a long walk to the park and ride scooters down big hills. that was real fun. we do a lot with my cousins, and have fun doing it.

spring time

since its spring hat i would change my blogs background. what do you think? spring is also when the pollen comes out. we have a huge tree in the front yard and puts huge amounts of pollen all over the place. i am actually allergic to pollen, but i love to be outside. also since spring is here, my mother has been taking our dogs for walks up and down our street. i really enjoy spring.

chemistry

so far this semester i have not been doing well in chemistry. i have been making 60s to 80s, sometimes even 50s. but the thing is that i have been trying my best to get good grades. its not the teacher but the fact that i have not been putting in the extra effort in studying every night. my para-educator told me to start making note cards that protain to the notes. it really helped. afterwards, i started to make hundreds on quizzes. that should help my average. i will continue to do better, and work harder.

first time with aerosoft

tonight at my church, the Power Camp is doing a little aerosoft war. I am really thinking about going to that. They say that if you get hit, it feels like a bee sting. I think I'll some padding or extra clothes. if you get hit, you're out. I think they even have less powerful flashbangs. I don't have any camoflauge, so I'll wear dark clothing. I am going to have a whole lot of fun.:)
